Simple Content Management System – Pulse CMS

Pulse is a simple CMS designed for small websites. It enables you to take an existing site and add content management in five minutes. Define the “blocks” on your website you wish to be editable and Pulse provides an easy to use backend to make edits right from your browser.

Pulse uses a system of “blocks”. These blocks represent sections of content that can be embedded into an existing site and easily edited from within Pulse. The idea is to give CMS like capability to static sites and allow clients to edit their own sites from within a browser.

Content Editor

You don’t need any special software to edit your site like a pro. Just fire up your browser, go to yoursite.com/pulse and log in.

Image Gallery

The built in image gallery makes it a snap to create a beautiful photo gallery for your site.

Blog

Pulse Pro has a simple blog that can be embedded into any page on your site. Creating a self hosted blog was never so easy.

Backup

With built-in, one-click backup, you don’t have to worry about messing something up. Just backup before you start an editing session and you can always go back and restore.

No Database

Don’t have rights to create a MYSQL database on your client’s site? No problem, Pulse uses flat files to save content so there’s no need to bring MYSQL into the mix.

One-Step Install

There is no installer. Just drag the “Pulse” folder into the root folder and you’re done. The only thing you need to do is change the default password.
